Four days and three nights in Snowdonia National Park, where students are on their all-important assessment for their The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Gold expedition. The group, who completed their trial run in the Black Mountains earlier this month, must be self-reliant, carrying food, water and camping equipment for a minimum of eight hours every day (although yesterday they carried on trekking for another four!).
