Chances are that you’ll find Will Wright either in the cricket nets or on the rugby pitch. While the Sixth Form student is at Gordon’s on a sports scholarship for rugby, playing in the ACE League, he is also on the Elite Player Group (EPG) for Middlesex County Cricket Club!

He has played for Middlesex Colts since the age of 14. Now he is a member of their fast track programme and was given the opportunity to turn out for their Second XI, in a friendly against Hampshire’s Second XI at the Utilita Bowl, Southampton for a three day game.

This summer will see the elite bowler playing 18s cricket, seizing any opportunity to play for the Second XI and performing in the Super 4s. Best of luck Will!
