Published 09/04/19A packed programme of events has seen our students learn Mandarin; paint Chinese fans and visit the Great Wall of China and terracotta army. The trip is proving to be a huge success.

dartmoor dofe
Published 09/04/19They took on Dartmoor for three days. Now the teams have been selected for the Ten Tors Challenge in May. This annual challenge sees over 2,000 teenagers competing in often difficult conditions and terrain and climbing ten tors in Dartmoor. We wish our team the best of luck next month.

Published 29/03/19After months of early morning training sessions in the snow, rain and dark, the DofE Bronze candidates in Y10 are now heading to Dartmoor for their Practice and Final. Also travelling today are 17 students making their way to China.

Published 28/03/19A whopping £1,000 has already been raised by Gordon's London Marathon runner Jamie Sinclair. Mr Sinclair, Head of Buckingham House, is running to raise funds for equipment for the new sports hall and all weather pitch at Gordon's that will benefit both the school and community. Published 28/03/19The perfect combination, cakes and books and all in aid of a good cause! Students were taking part in World Book Night where books and money will be donated to vulnerable members of society without access to books.

marshmallow challenge
Published 27/03/19The challenge, using all their engineering skills, was to build the tallest structure possible, using masking tape and spaghetti and of course a marshmallow! The competition was part of Gordon's STEM Week.

Published 27/03/19Preparations are well underway for tonight’s World Book Night, a fundraising event where books and money are donated to vulnerable members of society without access to books. Students have baked and decorated cakes for the event, which will be sold together with winning bookmarks from the World Book Day competition.

stamps galore
Published 27/03/19Scores of students queuing up to see the Head Teacher this morning to be congratulated on attaining three pages of stamps this term. Stamps are awarded for particularly good effort in a class and for service and participation in other aspects of school life. They will also receive a certificate in Assembly. Congratulations all.

Published 25/03/19Three months of preparation for the Ten Tors training in Dartmoor came to an end this morning. The hardy bunch of students have endured rain, snow and freezing temperatures – often before sunrise - three times a week throughout the term.

Published 25/03/19The enchanting voices of the Boys' Choir, recent winners in the Choir section at the Godalming Performing Arts Festival, rounded off Parade Sunday with a Choral Evensong in the Chapel.
