    Following in the footsteps of Gordonian Eboni Beckford-Chambers, who won gold in the netball at the Commonwealth Games, Gordon's U13 netball team has just won the District Tournament. As a result of their victory, they will take part in the County Tournament in May.

  • SBF Public Speaking

    The hotly-contested inaugural SBF Public Speaking Competition between the Royal Alexandra and Albert School, Duke of York's Royal Military School and Gordon's, was won by Gordon's whose topics included 'Is Trump really a bad thing?'. Congratulations to all who took part - a real test of character, diligence and enthusiasm!

  • Pioneer's Award

    A Pioneer's Award has been presented to Gordon's School for our work on LGBT+ Inclusion at the Educate and Celebrate Pride Youth Network Conference. Student representatives Kayley Aitken-Smith and Natasha Gerrard took part in four different workshops at the conference which held at at Goldsmith's University,  focussing on LGBT+ and in particular inclusion and welfare. They are pictured here with Sarah Maslen LGBT+ Inclusion and Welfare Officer.

  • Royal windsor date

    Members of the Equestrian Team at Gordon's School will once again be entering the main arena at the Royal Windsor Horse Show where they will be competing in front of HRH The Queen. Holly Norris, Rebecca Hales and Molly Barnard (who will be the youngest in the competition) will take part in an intense training program during the few weeks leading up to the event in May. We wish them all the best in their preparations and on the day itself.

  • School's Back

    A blaze of yellow daffodils is greeting drivers along roads of West End in Woking – the result of the back-breaking bulb planting by members of the West End Village Society. Members of the organisation raised the money to buy bulbs and planted some 50,000 of them over six consecutive weekends. Added to the 17,000 from last year and the area is just blooming! The Gordon’s Foundation was just one of the many local businesses who contributed to the fund to buy all the bulbs that have brightened up the whole village.

  • delight over debates

    Delegates from Gordon’s MUN (Model United Nations) recorded their best ever results at a conference held at Haileybury School recently. The MUN conference - one of the largest in the country - involved over 600 secondary school pupils from across the world assuming the roles of national ambassadors to debate and solve global issues. Darcy Watson, Dina Khan and Tim Fisho were Highly Commended; Tia Jasani, Luca Stamford and Oliver Henderson were Distinguished Delegates and the Gordon's delegation representing Cyprus was awarded Highly Commended: Tim Fisho, Artur Nunes, Harvey Tulloch, Luca Conti and Oliver Henderson.

  • Hitting the right notes

    Fresh from their successes at the Godalming Music Festival and after wowing parents and staff at the Spring Concert, Gordon’s singers have just been given another official thumbs up. Nine out of 12 Students got the top mark, Distinction in their LCM Singing, their grades ranging from Grade 2 up to Grade 8 and Diploma Level.

  • Farewell mr short

    Gravesend Students donned 'Mr Short masks' and composed a song for him in tribute to their popular Head of House. Alan Short is retiring after nearly 25 years at Gordon's and will be succeeded by Helen Bryan. Other farewells to staff included Katrione Young; Bekah Deacon and Sakharkar Snehal.
