In the end the trophy winners emerged as Buckingham House with Sandringham second and joint third Windsor and Victoria. Tonight’s Inter-House Music will be judged by Gordonian and keyboard player from BareJams, Josh Parmenter (far left). The second eldest of four Parmenter boys, all of whom boarded in Sandringham, Josh promises to be impartial in his judging and is very much looking forwarded to what has become a hotly contested Inter-House event in the school’s calendar.

Poet Dai George inspires Gordon’s students during his visit as part of the National Poetry Day celebrations. Mr George’s poetry has appeared in anthologies including the Salt Book of Younger Poets and the Best British Poetry 2011 and 2013
