Girls' rugby at Gordon's is one of the fastest-growing sports within the school, offering opportunities for players of all abilities to develop, compete and enjoy the game in a supportive and ambitious environment.

Whether students are completely new to rugby or already competing at a high level, our programme is designed to help every player reach their potential. We provide opportunities across all age groups, with teams competing throughout the year in contact and non-contact formats, including XVs, 10s, 7s and Touch Rugby.

Our players benefit from expert coaching, strength and conditioning support, performance analysis, physiotherapy provision and excellent facilities. The programme focuses not only on developing rugby players but also on building confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership skills that extend beyond the sports field.

Participation in girls' rugby continues to grow year on year. The welcoming culture within the squad ensures that everyone, regardless of experience, can enjoy the game and make significant progress.

Alongside regular fixtures, tournaments and festivals, we are committed to creating a pathway that allows players to progress from school rugby into club, county and representative rugby. Several Gordon's players have gone on to achieve county honours and gain recognition within elite development programmes.

Her performances led to selection for Surrey Rugby before being identified by the England Rugby Player Development Group. Most recently, Kyra has been offered a place within the Harlequins pathway programme, demonstrating the exciting opportunities available to players who are willing to work hard and commit to their development.
