Record-breaking wakeboarder, student Marley O’Toole has become the first UK rider to land a double back roll on a wakeboard behind a boat on a lake in the UK (captured below by Sam Pascal @_rascal).
The 15-year-old European and World Championship competitor achieved the incredible feat on just his third attempt at LDB Wakeschool this week, after practising the manoeuvre at home on a trampoline using an old wakeboard handle.
“I was really, really happy about it,” said Marley. “It’s a huge achievement.”
Marley now hopes to include the double back roll in his routines at the National Championships, European Championships, and World Championships, which are being held this year in England, Greece, and Italy.
