Bishop Visit

On the eve of the anniversary of the first 'necessitous' boys marching to the school site, then the Gordon Boys' Home, from Brookwood Station, The Bishop of Guildford, The Right Reverend Andrew Watson spoke to every year group about General Gordon, who died 140 years ago. He also unveiled a plaque for a stained glass window, donated to the school Chapel some 40 years ago by St Luke's Church in Southampton. The stained glass depicts General Gordon receiving his last communion before leaving for Sudan.
