Gordon's closed today at 5.00pm to all students until further notice. Teachers will continue to post work for students to complete at home on Google Classroom. Please note the following Government advice:

If it is at all possible for children to be at home, then they should be.

If a child needs specialist support, is vulnerable or has a parent who is a critical worker, then parents should visit the Surrey Local Education Authority website.

Parents should not rely for childcare upon those who are advised to be in the stringent social distancing category such as grandparents, friends, or family members with underlying conditions.

Parents should also do everything they can to ensure children are not mixing socially in a way which can continue to spread the virus. They should observe the same social distancing principles as adults.

The annual rite of passage for our Year 11s, shirt signing, held earlier than usual due to the closure of the school today. We wish all our students and their families well and hope to welcome them back as soon as possible. 

Bioplastics made from potato starch was how British Science Week started. It ended with students making pledges to replace with environmentally-friendly alternatives or cut down completely on single use plastic.

Regional finalists in the British Schools Karting Championship. Our teams came first and third last night in the qualifier and will now go through to the Regional Finals in May at Teamsport Reading. Congratulations all!
