    Our generous parents and neighbours come to the Dining Hall for the Macmillan Cancer Research tea party today. Cakes were donated by parents, staff and students and looked absolutely delectable! A great start to the exeat weekend. Thank you to all those who baked and bought.

    Head down to the Chobham Festival on Saturday where among the art show exhibits will be pieces by Gordon’s students. The Chobham Art Group’s ‘No Bare Walls’ at the Church Hall in High Street, Chobham is on Saturday 29th September from 10am – 4.30pm and Sunday 30th September from 11.30am to 4.30pm.

  • coffee, hot chocolate and cakes!

    Cake-lovers, whether staff or students, joined today for the MacMillan Coffee Morning at Gordon’s School. All brought in cakes for sale to raise money for this worthwhile cause. In Buckingham House, boys enjoyed hot chocolate too! This afternoon parents and members of the wider community will be coming in for a tea party in the dining hall between 2.30pm and 3.30pm.

    The stage is set for a great day of sport with the 4th SBF Festival at Gordon's School and Mr King and Mr Harrison were out early this morning for last preparations. The event will see schools from across the country competing in football; cross country; netball; rugby and indoor rowing. Best of luck to: Holyport College; Old Swinford Hospital; Royal Alexandra and Albert; Steyning Grammar; Wymondham College; RGS Colchester; Cranbrook School; Duke of York's Royal Military School; RGS High Wycombe and Skegness Grammar and of course the students at Gordon's.   • steinway masterclass

    After wowing their audience last night in the piano recital at school, musical students at Gordon’s then took part in a Masterclass today at the revered Steinway Hall, London hosted by Steinway Artists in London. A wonderful experience, as well as being great fun!

    For Miss Winckley a student here eight years ago, enjoyed it so much that she has come back as a teacher!

    Cyclists Lachlan Bethune; Lewis Broderick; Graham Davidson and Joshua Deakin focussed their training this week on road races, travelling to Gravesend Cyclopark in Kent with the Charlotteville Cycle Club. With the emphasis on co-operation and working together as a team, the foursome cycled more than 25 miles in their three hour session.
