  • ESFA quarter final win

    A 3-2 victory against Thomas Hardye School this afternoon earned Gordon's a Semi-Final place in the prestigious national competition, the English Schools Football Association Trophy for the second successive year. Skipper Will McKechnie, who has hit the target in each of the last four rounds, scored twice as Gordon's came from behind to snatch a thunderous win. Also on the scoresheet was Elliott Sleep while man of the match was Jack Burrell with an imposing performance in midfield.

    Friends of Gordon's made intricate, professional-looking (and delicious!) canapes last night with the expert guidance of Amanda Beavis from Simply Dine at the Gordon's Canapes Evening.     Being a good friend and appreciating friends and family, all part of Mental Health Awareness Day at Gordon's. While some students engaged in relaxation exercises such as yoga and learned about how different foods effect moods, others wrote about why they liked particular people.

    Porridge; salmon; mackerel and plenty of fresh water, with a fruity twist was enjoyed by those learning about Food and Mood today as part of ID Week’s mental health day. Elsewhere, students were strolling around the grounds for a ‘Walk and Talk’ session learning relaxation techniques to manage stress and anxiety.

    The newly-formed Boys' Choir held their first Choral Evensong at Gordon's last night by candlelight in the school chapel. This enchanting service - the oldest continuous music tradition in the world - will also take place on Parade Sunday March 24th from 6pm. All welcome.

  • Marathon man

    Fundraising for the new sports hall and all-weather pitch for Gordon’s and the local community, has already started with Buckingham’s Head of House Jamie Sinclair committed to running in the London Marathon to raise money to equip the development. He also plans to set a personal best of achieving the marathon in under three hours! To sponsor him please click here.
