Sixth Form Scholars Programme

The Scholars Programme involves students undertaking a range of activities to enhance their academic accomplishment, particularly in the lead up to writing their UCAS applications. These activities are divided into three sub-categories: Read, Watch and Involve. Students are encouraged to read University-level resources, attend in-person or online subject master classes or lectures, complete online courses, enter national and internal competitions, or host discussion groups. Students are expected to log their progress, which is overseen in bi-weekly meetings with Miss Weeks, or Mrs Wright if they are Oxbridge.

Scholars in Year 13 will also have the opportunity to gain leadership skills by assisting in mentoring the younger years, particularly those embarking on independent research projects. Students will deliver sessions on their interests to KS3 and Ks4 Scholars.
