Saturday morning sport and physical activities continue to run at normal times.
Different sports are governed and advised by their own governing bodies and the School will be following these guidelines carefully, along with guidelines issued by the Department for Education.
Needless to say, some sports allow fixtures to be played whilst other sports allow training only. This guidance is being reviewed daily and we will be adapting each individual programme accordingly until we have a full return to our usual comprehensive list of fixtures.
In line with the school’s policy, students are expected to attend every Saturday morning so that they are ‘match ready’ come the inevitable start of competitive fixtures. In order to aid this, we hope that as many students as possible will be able to enjoy the superb new facilities opening later in the Autumn Term. Additionally, as part of our commitment to provide a varied and comprehensive co-curricular programme to all of our students, professionals in the sporting field will be delivering informative and exciting sessions to students in order to enhance their sporting experience.
We encourage all students to engage in the sporting programme and get active in order to achieve good mental and physical health, as part of the Boarding Aims for all students.
