First Give – Philanthropy Project

The First Give programme inspires and empowers young people to take action to make a positive change in society by doing social action for causes students choose. Students in Year 9 can enter this internal competition, which will then be judged in the First Give Final with an outside panel of judges awarding the prize.

NHS Careers Competition

Students are challenged to choose an NHS career that interests them. Once chosen, they research the career's key responsibilities, skills, experience and qualifications via a job description activity sheet. This learning is then used to create a fun and lively job advertisement to appeal to their peers. Students can enter individually or in teams of up to four. This will open again in January 2024.
