Open Surgery in the Medical Centre
Residential Boarders can refer themselves to the Medical Centre during the following times:
MONDAY – FRIDAY
8.00am – 8.30am
10.30am – 10.50am
12.40pm – 1.30pm
3.35pm – 3.55pm
5pm – 6pm
9.15am – 12.15pm
The school Medical Centre will offer emergency first aid to Day Boarders during the school day if needed. Day Boarders can also make a pre-arranged visit to the Medical Centre for planned care such as receiving a prescribed medication or pain relief to enable them to complete their school day. Please can parents contact their child's House to arrange such visits. Parents will be contacted to collect their child if they are unfit to remain in lessons.
THERE IS A NURSE ON CALL AT ALL OTHER TIMES. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR HOUSE STAFF.
Open Surgery times are designed to be as least disruptive to the school day as possible. Students feeling unwell during lesson times are to inform their teacher who will then take the appropriate action. At all other times, students are to report to the House staff who will liaise directly with the Medical Centre or the Nurse on call.
