Karting has seen great success at Gordon’s with teams reaching the National Schools Finals on consecutive years.

Annually Gordon's competes in the British Schools Karting championships.

It was great to get back on the tarmac post-covid for a return to karting. With an almost completely new set of drivers, the teams set about attacking the challenge of the BSKC (British Schools Karting Championship.)

The area final was held at TeamSport Farnborough. Both teams did the school proud, bleeding engine oil black as opposed the green on the night to finish 1st and 2nd so both teams headed off to the regional final with high hopes.

Due to a change of rules only the top three teams (out of 20) qualified for the national final. The students battled hard all night, but agonising fell just short in their quest for a podium position. However it was a great success after the pandemic years and a positive start to driving karting from strength to strength in the future.
