drama society

Drama Society at Gordon’s School is run and arranged collaboratively by students from Year 10 to Year 13, all of whom are dedicated to both their improvement at and enjoyment of the dramatic arts. Activities can vary on a weekly basis as all students collectively decide on what activities they run from one week to the next. Some examples of this are stage makeup, monologue support and advice, improvisation exercises, stand-up comedy, costume and set designing and reading plays. In the future, Drama Society hopes to have external speakers, or people to run workshops with real industry expertise. Our main aim is to grow comradery between different year groups within Drama, and help to encourage the familial atmosphere that is already fostered within our whole school and KS3 productions. Drama is a safe space for many students at Gordon’s, and we love this opportunity to forge new friendships and connections across all year groups. We hope you will join us when we meet in Medway on Wednesdays P8!
