Gordon's Dash - Sunday 6th October 2019

Come and join us for a 5 mile cross-country fun run! This route provides for a scenic run, covering paths, tracks and woodland trails across Brentmoor Heath, Participants can choose to run one or two laps (2.5 or 5 miles)*

Entrance fee: £5 for 1 lap, £10 for 2 laps  To enter: www.gordons.school/boxoffice

Online entry closes: 5.00pm on Thursday 3rd October Entries taken on the day

The event is open to all ages, in order to run unaccompanied, participants must be in Y7 (11+) or above for 1 lap. To enter for 2 laps participants must be in Y10 (14+) or above.

PAST EVENTS

'Murders in Soho' - A Guided Tour 

The walk started at Piccadilly Circus and finished near to Tottenham Court Road. The tour had 12 stops and covered some 30 murders  including three serial killers.

Insect and Butterfly Walk on Horsell Common 

Lee Slatter and Geoff Eaton from the Surrey Branch of the Butterfly Conservation Society will be exploring the different butterflies and insect which can be found in our local area.

Private Tour of Royal Holloway, University of London

We have been lucky to secure a private guided tour of Royal Holloway College which was founded by two social pioneers. 

Brookwood Cemetery; a Grade 1 Historic Park and Garden

A guided walk around Brookwood Cemetery led by the Brookwood Cemetery

Private Tour of Loseley Gardens

A wonderful evening at Loseley Park courtesy of Gordon Foundation Trustee and host, Micheal More-Molyneux. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapes in the Grand Hall of Loseley House on arrival followed by a private tour of the Gardens led by the Head Gardener. Please click here to view the photo gallery.

Autumn Walk and Fruit Tasting at RHS Garden Wisley

A group of Friends of Gordon's joined us for a beautiful autumn stroll through RHS Garden Wisley followed by a fruit tasting session led by Gardener and Gordonian, Bernard Boardman. It was a fantastic afternoon involving plenty of apple munching!
