lest we forget

Holocaust survivor Ernest Simon from the Holocaust Educational Trust shared his testimony to a packed audience in the Rec last night. Mr Simon, who lived in Vienna prior to the Second World War, came to the UK in 1939 aged 8 years old with the Kindertransport to flee the Nazis. He is one of a number of survivors attached to the Trust, which aims to educate young people about the Holocaust and the important lessons to be learned from today.
