food for thought

As part of their BTEC Business Course, Y11 students ‘applied’ for the position of Kitchen Assistant at Gordon’s, supplying a letter; CV and application form. To prepare them for the process, they were shown around the kitchen by Catering Manager David Mason. As well as learning about the importance of the application process, they came away much wiser about the nature of the catering industry - and how much work goes into their meals every day!
