The minimum academic requirements to join Gordon's School Sixth Form in 2020 to study A levels are the following or equivalent:A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades 9-5 including at least a grade 5 in GCSE English Language and MathematicsANDThe grade criteria for individual subjects as outlined in the Gordon's Sixth Form Options booklet .
Please note, your school will be asked to verify your predicted GCSE grades (if given).
Gordon’s School Sixth Form students study 3 A Levels.Please see below table for option blocks and courses available. You may only select one course from each column. * If you wish to study Further Maths, you must also take A level Maths from block A and are recommended to take 2 further subjects (ie 4 A levels in total) * If BTEC Sport is chosen, 2 option blocks must be selected as it is considered as a double A level.
Please indicate from the below drop down boxes which 3 A levels you wish to study at Gordon's Therefore please leave one block blank by selecting 'none from this block'.(Please note, as from Sept 2020 you will NOT be taking AS Levels in these subjects). Students can opt to take 4 A level subjects for 2 years if they so wish. In this case, please select from all 4 blocks.
