    From a pilates course for pregnancy to mayhem in a classroom and stereotypes, those taking part in this year’s Inter-House Drama have devised a completely diverse range of plays to showcase their acting skills. Rehearsals took part in the Rec this afternoon with the final this evening. The event will be judged by the Head of Drama Ms Moore and Mr Olden.

  • SA fundraising towel

    A must-have accessory for any students or Gordonian is the new Gordon’s green towel. Measuring approximately 75cm by 120cm and 100 per cent cotton, the £18 towel features an embroidered Gordon’s crest and the name of the house. Student Nathan White came up with the idea as a means of fundraising for the Rugby tour to South Africa in the summer. To order one, pick up a form from Khartoum Office.

    Year 10's Young Enterprise team 'Black and Write' has won the Most Innovative Product/Service award at the North Surrey Festival held at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Camberley. The product idea focused on a health and well-being bullet journal, and the team also finished runners up for ‘best financials.’ Well done girls and good luck representing Gordon's School at the North Surrey Area Final!

    A flavoured milk van and modified exercise bike jostled for top place in the Dragons’ Den style event by Y10 GCSE Business students but the idea deemed ‘most likely to succeed’ was from Track-it – a device to find lost items in the home. Students worked in teams to create a business plan to present to the ‘dragons’ (members of the local community and real life entrepreneurs), who in the style of the popular BBC TV programme, asked questions and grilled the students.

    Rainbow laces, badges and flags. Today at Gordon’s the focus was on LGBT+ awareness. Events at the school included a visit from Surrey Police’s Youth Intervention team who spoke to students about hate crime and how it is combatted and battling homophobia. Tonight students will see the film ‘Love Simon’.

    A 3-2 victory against Thomas Hardye School this afternoon earned Gordon's a Semi-Final place in the prestigious national competition, the English Schools Football Association Trophy for the second successive year. Skipper Will McKechnie, who has hit the target in each of the last four rounds, scored twice as Gordon's came from behind to snatch a thunderous win. Also on the scoresheet was Elliott Sleep while man of the match was Jack Burrell with an imposing performance in midfield.
