Period 7 & Saturday Morning

The Boarding Aims stress the positive effect on physical and mental health that co-curricular activity provides. Following the guidance for specific sports and activities, Period 7 activities continue for all students. Staff manage the activity in line with the relevant guidance to ensure that students are able to participate and engage fully in physical, creative and academic co-curricular activity, albeit remotely and at home.

Period 7 activities continue to run this term with some activities being posted on Google Classroom and some activities being conducted live on Teams.

All students have been invited to join a major sport and fitness group on Google Classroom. Uploads on Mondays and Wednesdays are aimed at developing fitness, while uploads on Saturdays are sport specific; either football, netball, rugby or hockey.

Sports scholars have their own bespoke programme managed by Mr Jones, our Elite Performance Director.

Cyclists will meet (virtually) on Saturdays to use the Zwift platform to take on some of the world's more challenging rides!

Rowers will follow their bespoke ergo training programme managed by Mr Inns.

The shooting team will continue to meet weekly with Mr Driver.

All students (and parents!) are welcome to join out Strava community and take part in any of the weekly challenges posted there!
