  • Bring a new perspective to a subject or topic
  • Offer specialist knowledge, experience and resources
  • Make sensitive or controversial topics easier to address
  • Develop cultural awareness (Cultural Capital) 
  • Support the whole school approach to promoting British values and SMSC 
  • Form a friendly and potentially active link with the community and local services
  • Support existing SoW by further enhancing the curriculum
  • Provide students with supportive relationships between the generations and different social groups within the community
  • Strengthen links and relationships within and between communities.
