A chance to demonstrate the skills learned through being in the school’s tri-service Combined Cadet Force (CCF) for students in Year 10 at their Biennial Inspection. Commander Anthony Pimm from the Royal Navy carried out the inspection, which started off with a Parade before he toured the school watching the cadets in action. The Royal Naval cadets showed him how they assemble (and take apart!) a field gun. Army cadets showcased shooting in the school’s indoor range and cooking in the field and the RAF demonstrated the school’s flight simulators. Also on the day’s itinerary were command tasks and patrolling skills/field craft. Thank you Commander Pimm!
