armistice poets

Poets David Gomina and Darcy Watson have been shortlisted for the Armistice 100 Prize for Schools Poetry Competition. The Gordon’s students competed against entrants from all over the country aged between 11 and 18 years old in the competition which is supported by the Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy and the Winner of Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry, Imtiaz Dharker. They will be invited to a performance poetry event at Lincoln University where the winners will be announced. Their poems will also be published in a collection called Armistice 100.
