Gordon's Goes PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness

Mufti Day at Gordon's on Friday 24th October supports  Breast Cancer Awareness Month

On Friday 24th October Gordon’s participated in the national event of wearing something pink in support of breast cancer awareness month. Overall, we raised a total of £1,187.30!

The event was a huge success with both pupils and members of staff wearing pink items of clothing in order to show their support for thousands of women waking up to the harsh reality of breast cancer every day.

The theme was consistent throughout the whole school and a special mention must go to the Catering team for their fantastic efforts in both decorating the Dining Hall with a pink theme and for baking some delicious pink fairy cakes.

Overall, the day was enthusiastically celebrated by all and was an opportunity for Gordon’s to unite together against such a brilliant cause.

We look forward to participating in more national events such as ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ on Thursday 11th December for Save the Children.
